Cadbury: From diet to delight
The Challenge
Cadbury risked entering low-calorie chocolate at a disadvantage. The category spoke in trade-offs (“diet”, “less”, ”only”), stripping away everything people came to chocolate for and shrouding it in shame.
If Cadbury were to follow that blueprint, they’d hit the low-cal brief but lose what’s so special, indulgent, and generous about their brand.

The Strategy
We shifted the story from restriction to reward. Rather than focusing on what the product takes away, we built a story around what it delivers - ensuring the experience still feels like a proper chocolate treat. This played out in the details you see on shelf today:
A name ‘Cadbury Delights’ that signals enjoyment, not compromise
A simple, confident calorie message reworked from “only 91 calories” to “91 Cadbury calories”
Distinctive design language that avoid typical “diet” tropes
